We:• Follow UK safeguarding legislation and local guidance• Ensure our staff, founders and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities• Respond promptly to any concerns about a child or family• Treat everyone with dignity, respect and sensitivity• Maintain appropriate boundaries in all interactions• We keep safeguarding at the centre of our work.

We take all concerns seriously and will respond as quickly and appropriately as possible.

Our Duty of Care

We have a responsibility to act when we believe a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk.This may include contacting:- Local authority children’s services- Local authority safeguarding teams- The police or emergency services (if someone is in immediate danger)

We only share information with services that need to know in order to protect someone from harm.

We Are Not an Emergency Service

While we are committed to supporting families, we cannot provide crisis or emergency safeguarding support.If you believe a child or adult is in immediate danger, please contact:999 – Emergency Services

For urgent but non-emergency safeguarding concerns, you can contact your local authority children’s services or out-of-hours safeguarding team.
